Free...yes, FREE camping for PBR

Friend of the PBR, Jamie Auch, was able to secure free camping for New Year's Eve at Zen Tubing in Asheville!  There are ZERO facilities, but it's free and only 2.5 miles from the start.  The address is 1648 Brevard Rd and there should be plenty of space for everyone.

Again, no electricity, water, or bathrooms...come prepared.  The Rice Pinnacle parking lot in Bent Creek is probably the closest pit toilets if you need em.

Time for fun and games!

First game of the PBR - There's something almost all of us have and whomever has the oldest wins a prize from Hi-Wire Brewing.  You have to bring it with you!

You don't have to answer in the form of a question!

Random Bits

Just a list of random bits;

As of 12/16 it looks like we should have at least 8-10 buses attending!  I was hoping for 5.

My pre-drive data is available in the Garmin/Google files posted to the right, but long story short......in my Subaru Outback the route took 4h 11m for 127 miles.  There's at least one significant bail out point if this whole thing takes way longer than expected.

Food & Fuel services are pretty much unavailable from mile 0 to 85.  Please plan accordingly!

There are plenty of gas stations, fast food, and a grocery store near the start, but please remember it's a holiday.  I would suggest packing a lunch.
