The second Pisgah Bus Rally was a great success!

We had 13 beautiful buses at the start and 12 finishing Part I for lunch at the horse stables.  7 adventurous souls took off for Part II which was a digital photo scavenger hunt finishing at Hi Wire Brewing two hours later.

Scavenger Hunt Details;
2015 Pisgah Bus Rally Photo Scavenger Hunt

Finish at Hi-Wire is 2 hrs after start time. 
(197 Hilliard Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - park across street) 

Pictures must be taken on day of event.  In the event of a tie finish time will be the tie-breaker.

To collect points your bus must be in a picture w/ the following items;

1 point item (multiples allowed i.e. 2 BBQ places = 2 pts); 
Pisgah National Forest sign
BBQ restaurant
Mexican restaurant
Chick Fil A restaurant

3 point items;
3 pts each for any brewery/brew pub.  (Beer must be made on site)

5 point items;
Picture w/ a police officer touching your bus (5 pts for each officer)

10 point item;
Bus up on a lift, all 4 wheels off the ground!

Dear participants....let it be known you have been advised to be prepared with a digital camera and/or smart phone to properly ~finish~ this year's Pisgah Bus Rally.  (Don't forget to have a charged battery!)

Here is your first clue;

(Note - put your phone on 'airplane mode' in Pisgah or your battery will be killed looking for a signal all day)

Start Location Change - PLEASE READ

We have decided to move the start location to the Toys R Us on Brevard Rd.  It's just down the road a bit from the Petco.  The parking lot is much bigger.

Zen and The Art of Free Camping

Once again friend of the rally, Jamie A (pictured below), has secured Zen Tubing's riverside property in Asheville for FREE camping for New Year's Eve.

We will have a couple port-a-johns this year!!!  Please plan on bringing everything else you need for cold weather camping......water, heat, food, etc.
